Willie Joe Butler

Mr. Willie Joe Butler entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at University Hospital, Augusta GA. 

Graveside services were held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 @ 4 p.m. at the Butler’s Family Cemetery, 189 Tucker School Rd., Wrightsville, GA.

Born on October 17, 1942 , Willie was born to the parentage of the late Mr. Christine and Mrs. Anna (London) Butler.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Annie Rose Butler; son, Tony Butler and siblings, John Butler and Gerry  Houston.

Willie leaves cherished memories to his son, Harvey (Latasha) Darrisaw ,Tennille, GA ; two grandchildren, Shanguane Darrisaw and Jada Darrisaw, great grandchild, Kash Darrisaw two sisters, Hermene (Bill) Burt, Miami Gardens, FL, and Maxine (George) Anderson, Cleveland, OH; a devoted nephew, Larry Houston, Dublin, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
