Mr. William A. Young , Sandersville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020 at the Washington Country Regional Medical Center, Sandersville, GA.

Graveside services were held on Sunday Nov. 29, 2020 @ 2 p.m. at Brownwood Cemetery, , Sandersville, GA .

William Alexander Young, Sr., was born in Queens, New York to the parentage of the late Lizzie Bell Harris and Vance Young, Sr.

He graduated from Washington County High School in 1991 and Progressive Trend Beauty School in 1994 under the leadership of Mary Bridges. After graduating from beauty school, he joined his mom working at their family’s salon, Liz & Kids.

William enjoyed shooting pool, doing hair, and spending time with his family. He had a huge heart and loved his kids.

He was more than a beautician. He was confidant; a diary for some and a superman to his family. William always had a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on. Most of all, he was loyal.

Along with his mother, William was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert M. Harris, Sr.

William leaves to cherish his memories his children, Shequana Heidt-Young, William Young, Jr., Akeyreon Young, Aeriel Young, Alex Young and Senario Fraley; father, Vance T.Young Sr.; sisters, Patricia (Herman) Black, Nicole Young and Shawntin (William) Randolph; brothers, Vance Young, Jr. Kendrick Young, Sr. and Robert Harris, Jr.; aunts, Janet Reese and Vanessa Reese Arjune’; nieces, ChanNiqua Ellison, Chabrika Ellison, Chyna Ellison, Chyanna Ellison (Jerimiah Willis),, Jade Miller, Shymeka Blair, Jordan Harris and Kennedy Young; nephews, Johnathan Burden, Master Harris, Vance R. Young, Rashawn Young, Kendrick Young, Jaden Harris,JaKeandre’ Jackson, Julian Shaw, and Edward Gilmore, Jr.; devoted friends, Charles Warthen, Robert Williams, Jackie Barnes, Brandlyn Jones, Jimmy Watts, Latosha Danzy-Bass, Stacie (Alex) Jordan and Crystal Burden.
