Miss Vanity. J. Brooks, Sandersville, Georgia , entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Augusta University Hospital . Augusta Georgia. following an extended illness.
Graveside services were held on Thursday , June 23, 2022 @ 11 a.m. at Brownwood Cemetery, W. Church Street, Sandersville, GA.
A special gift was entrusted to Mr. Floyd Brooks & Mrs. Eva Brooks as the sun rose on the life of their daughter, Vanity. Vanity Juandraé Brooks, affectionately known as Bea, was born on April 23, 1988. At the tender age of 34, this loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend yielded to the Master’s call and bade this world farewell on Sunday, June 19, 2022.
Who was Vanity? She was outgoing, always smiling, a lover of sunflowers, and always planning trips. Her greatest love was her momma and her boys. She was a 2006 graduate of Jefferson County High School and later earned a certificate in phlebotomy from the Tender Care Training Center in Augusta, Georgia. At an early age, she joined the Peaceful Zion Baptist Church in Wadley, Georgia. Also, Vanity was a diligent Walmart associate. Her special light will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
Vanity was preceded in death by the following close family members: her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Eva Mae Walker; her paternal grandfather; Mr. John Henry Brooks; her father, Mr. Floyd Louis Brooks; her aunts, Katie Price, Nella Wadley, Bertha Walker, and Mary Braddy; and her niece, Remiyah Brown.
Cherished memories of Ms. Vanity Juandraé Brooks will continue to live inside the hearts of her two sons, Davion Jones and Desmond Jones of Sandersville, and her mother and special caregiver, Mrs. Eva Brooks of Wadley. Others who mourn her passing include: brother – Arnandez (Cassandra) Walker, Louisville, Georgia; sisters –Dandrea (Remon) Brown, Marietta, Georgia and Yonesha Davis, South Carolina; paternal grandmother – Mrs. Ida Mary Brooks, Louisville, Georgia; two uncles – Roy Walker, Bartow, Georgia and Larry Walker, Jacksonville, Florida; a very loving great-aunt – Mrs. Dorothy Williams, Wadley, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. She will also be missed by a very, very supportive and devoted friend, Mrs. Pam Stewart and her husband, Mr. Trae Stewart.
