Tommie “Tucker” Womble

Although my life appears brief, my earthy days whether good or bad are past and gone. a night of death has drawn near. God never promised any of us tomorrow or guaranteed us old age. Life is so precious, so always show each other love, because you never know when God will call you home.

Mr. Tommie Womble affectionately known as “Tucker” entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 2,2024 at his residence. 
 

Funeral arrangements were held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church , Warthen , GA on Saturday, May 11,2024  at 11 a.m. Pastor Mack Jackson officiated. Burial  followed  in the church cemetery. 
 
Tucker , as he was known to  many , was born to the parentage of the late Mr. George Womble Sr. and  Mrs. Lena Will Womble.

He is survived by his sisters; Ella Lee Wadley, Glenda Womble, Joyce Womble, Barbara Cumming and Saketha (Thomas) Butts all of Sandersville, GA , brothers; George Womble Jr. and Joseph (Shalanda) Dixon, both of Sandersville; and a host of other relatives and friends. 
 

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements.
