Mrs. Thelma Jackson Jiles , Sandersville, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Augusta University Medical Center, Augusta, GA.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 @ 1 p.m. at Green Grove Baptist Church, Sandersville, GA. Rev. Tracy Wheeler Sr., officiated. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Ella (Belmus) Jackson.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by sisters, Lucille Duggan, Gladys Gordon, Lillie Pearl Harvey, Irene Jackson and Luvada Martin ; brothers, Sammie Lee Jackson and Wilson Jackson Jr, and a grandson, Damien Rhodes.
Thelma is survived by , her devoted husband Mr. Eddie L. Jiles of Sandersville, five children, Ruby Dell Cooper, Macon, GA, Mrs. Sarah Bridges Rogers, Tennille, GA, Mr. Calvin (Peggy) Jackson, Macon, GA, Mr. Donald (Dorothy) Jackson, Sandersville, GA and Ms. Teresa Ann Jackson; a bonus son, Mr. V. Earl James; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Fanni, Macon , GA and Mrs. Marylene Hicks of Euclid, OH, one brother, Mr. Frank Jackson, Cleveland, OH; several grandchildren ,numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren;a devoted niece, Ms. Charlene Duggan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
