Mr. Sylvester Houston, Sandersville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the Washington Co. Regional Medical Center , Sandersville, GA.
Graveside services were held along with his daughter’s (Nina Harris) on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 3 p. m. at the Brownwood Cemetery, Sandersville, GA.
Mr. Sylvester (Lil Buddy) Houston entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Washington County Memorial Hospital.
Sylvester was born on September 13, 1936 to the parentage of the late Eugene Houston and Jessie Mae Bell.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Willie (Red) Thomas and his two daughters, Nina Faye Harris and Patricia Ann Wicker.
Mr. Houston is survived by his wife, Mae E. Houston of Sandersville, GA; daughter, Sandra Houston of Tennille, GA; six sons, Merle Houston of Tennille, GA, Victor Jones of Sandersville, GA, Willie (Lenora) Wicker of Wrens, GA, Dennis E. (Andrenetta) Jones of Raleigh, NC, Tyrone (Teresa) Gonderof Dublin, GA, and Gerald Gonder of Tennille, GA; two sisters-in-law, Juanita Gonder of Sandersville, GA and Mary Nell Jones of Augusta, GA; twelve grandchildren, Leotis Dixon, Jr. of Suffolk, VA, London Carr of Las Vegas, NV, Johnny (Monique) Harris of Sandersville, GA, Keon Jones of Atlanta, GA, Kimberly (Tommy) Harris of Sandersville, GA, Briana (Jawasky) Harris of Tennille, GA, Leandra Brown of Tennille, GA, Cynitha Rainy of Sandersville, GA, Octavia Wicker of Louisville, GA, Laquanvia Wicker of Augusta, GA, Joseph (Terica) Wicker of Atlanta, GA, and Daniel Wicker of Atlanta, GA;
