Shellie Cummings

Ms. Shellie Cummings, Sandersville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday , September 26, 2021 at the Augusta University Medical Center , Augusta, GA.                                      
 

Graveside services were held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 @ 1 p.m. at Minton Spring A.M. E. Church, Warthen, GA. Rev. Tracy Wheeler  officiated .

She was born on September 15, 1943 in Washington County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Margaret and Willie H.Cummings, Sr.

At an early age, she joined the Minton Spring AME Church, Warthen, GA. She served as a faithful member for many years.

She leaves to mourn her daughter, Mrs. Victoria (Carnell) Bell of Sandersville, Georgia; three sisters, Ms. Rosie Mae Cummings, Mrs. Maude Wright, and Mrs. Patricia (Willie, Sr.) Brown of Sandersville, GA; brother, Willie H.  Cummings, Jr; four loving grandchildren, Frederick DeWayne Armstrong, Shirley Nicole Armstrong, Latonia Cherise Cato, and Marguerite Shanika Brown, all of Sandersville, GA; five sweet great-grandchildren, Kerrianna Armstrong, Devonte’ Armstrong, Akari Seanqez Taylor, Ja’Riyah Armstrong, Ja’Nayliah Armstrong of Sandersville, GA; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
