Robert Cheely, Jr.

Mr. Robert Cheely, Jr., returned back to the open arms of his creator on Monday, August 3, 2020 at the University Hospital  in Augusta Georgia. 
 

Graveside services were held on Friday, August 7 2020 @ 10 A.M. at the Brownwood Cemetery, W. Church St., Sandersville, GA. 

Robert Cheely, Jr., son of the late Robert Cheely, Sr. and Gracie Lee Howard, was born on March 7, 1958 in Sparta, Georgia.  

He attended the public schools of Hancock County.

Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Howard, Sr.,his grandmother, Beatrice Howard and his aunt, Mildred Pinkston.

 He leaves to cherish his many  memories; his children, Le’Shon Cheely of South Carolina, Monica Cheely of Atlanta, GA), Jermaine Cheely and Andre Grant of Philadelphia; daughter-in-law Regina Chambers of South Carolina; devoted friend, Cassandra Ingram; grandchildren, Phillip Cheely of Philadelphia, Anthony Gibbons, Jr. of Atlanta, GA and Darious Gibbons of South Carolina; aunts, Christine Thomas and Emma Little (OH); uncles, Darnell Pinkson and Jean Howard; niece LaShawn Howard of Atlanta, GA; nephews Steven Howard, Stanley Howard and Gene Howard, Jr., all of Atlanta, GA and Dominique Hunter of South Carolina; cousins, Cornelius (Abigail)Pinkston, Darrick (Patricia) Pinkston, Michita Watkins and Willie Pinkston of Sparta, GA; extended family: sister, Jennifer Poole; brother, Kendrick (Roslyn) Poole.

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
