Mr. Holsey left this life to return to the open arms of his creator on Wed., November 13, 2019.
Funeral Services for Mr.Holsey were held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 2 PM from the Saint Galilee Baptist Church.Rev. Tommy White officiated.. Burial followed in the Sandersville City Cemetery. The body laid in state from 1 p.m until the hour of the service .
Born on March 16,1955, Rickey was the son of the late Mrs. Jessie Poole Holsey and the late Mr. Sammie Lee Holsey Sr. . He was a 1973 graduate of T.J. Elder School.
Left to cherish his many memories is his children, Rickey B. (Tanya) Holsey, Jaqueline (Sam) Holsey,Tameka Holsey,Tawanda Holsey,Demetrius (Nikki ) Crawford,Lorenzo Holsey, Lucy (Brian) Hagans, and Dantarius Tillman ,thirty six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, sisters ,Sherry (Kennedy) Heard,Betty Jean Flemming,Justina ( Eddie ) Miller,Bobbie Jean Williams (Charles) and Cathy Smith, brothers, Louis Holsey,Danny Holsey, Tony (Tangie) Holsey, Kenneth Holsey, Calvin Smith,Don (Mamie ) Dennis,and Frank (Cassandra) Dennis, as well as his many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends including a devoted friend Ms. Mable Brown of Sandersville,GA.
