Ms. Ola Ruth Wilcher Ivey entered into eternal rest on Wednesday , May 19, 2021 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center, Sandersville, GA.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 @ 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Sandersville, GA., with Rev. Cecil Moore officiating.
Ola Ruth leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted husband, Alex Ivey, Jr. of Conyers, GA; son, Alex Ivey III of Bronx, NY; daughters, Kathy (Russell) Ivey Gladden of Bronx, NY and Sharon (Derrick) Ivey of Sandersville, GA; grandchildren, Tyniesha Ivey of Sandersville, GA, Jalesse Hunt-Johnson of Sandersville, GA, Lekuan Gladden of Bronx, NY, Rashid Gladden of Bronx, NY, Kendriquis Ivey ,Derkell Ivey of Sandersville, GA and Devontae Ivey of Sandersville, GA; great-grandchildren, Jah’Marcus Renfroe, Jacee Darrisaw, Jah’Darian Dunn, Jabari Renfroe, Jaden Renfroe, Jakiyah Hunt, Jaden Peacock, KarmenIvey, Kolton Ivey, Kolby Ivey, Lyric Ivey, and Keymari Ivey, all of Sandersville, GA; sister-in-laws, JoAnn (Ben) Dotson of Sandersville, GA, and Mae Ann DeMartino of New York; brother-in-laws, Willie Fred Swint of Sandersville, GA; Jerry (Helen) Gilbert of Sandersville, GA, and Robert (Bertha) Darden, Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.
