Michael Hicks

Mr. Michael Hicks entered into eternal rest of Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at his residence.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 24, 2022 @ 2 p.m. at Shiloh C.M.E. Church, Davisboro , GA. Rev. Tracy Wheeler Sr. officiated. Burial  followed  in the Church Cemetery.

Michael was born on June 28, 1973, to the parentage of Cora D. Hicks and the late David Lee Hicks, Sr. He was raised and educated in the public-school system of Washington County.

 Michael leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Angela Taylor-Hicks; children, Michael Damian Hicks, Jamaica Breanna Hicks and Kenadie Jamaya Hicks, all of Sandersville, GA; mother, Cora D. Hicks of Davisboro, GA; siblings, Nickey Rodney (Cynthia) Hicks of Twin City, GA, Tony (Sonya) Gamble of Fairburn, GA, David Hicks, Jr. of Pensacola, FL, Regina Hicks, and Mary Alice Hicks of Birmingham, AL; aunts, Shirley Mae Davis or Walterboro, SC, Anna Bell Hicks of Wadley, GA, Martha D. Tukes of Sandersville, GA and Everline Daniels of Davisboro, GA; uncles, John (Iola) Smith of Orlando, FL, and Ozzie (Edith) Hicks of Jacksonville, FL; ten nieces and nine nephews; and a host of other family members and devoted friends.

Wheeler's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
