Mattie (Neal) Hood

I did not want to leave you all because I have loved each of you in my own special way; but when the master heard my secret cries, His death angels came to take me home. After seventy- three years of life, I welcomed my departure from this land because earth was never my permanent home. There was peace, joy, and serenity on this journey. My journey through this life is over, but my true journey has just begun! Don't cry for me but rejoice instead because I am now free and resting in my new home.

Mrs. Mattie Neal Hood entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta , GA. 

Celebration of life services were  held on Friday, January 24,2025 @ 1:00 p.m. at Wheeler’s Event Center, Sandersville, GA . 

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements.
