It is with deepest sympathy that Wheeler's Funeral Home announce the passing of Ms. Lakeysa "Shawn" Wigfall, of Sandersville .
"Shawn" passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
Memorial services were held privately by the family.
Lakeysa LaShawn Wigfall, 41, returned to the open arms of her creator on June 27, 2020. Shawn was born on May 10, 1979 to Mr. Willie Jay Wigfall and Mrs. Annie Cora Taylor Wigfall , was a life-long Sandersville resident and attended the public schools of Washington County.
Growing up Shawn always followed her passions and when she wasn’t spending time with her family, she loved doing hair and cooking. She was a sweet person and will truly be missed by those who knew her.
Left to cherish her memories, she leaves her brothers, Willie Lee Taylor and Carlos Roberson; sisters, Brenda Burden, Betty Hodges, Thelma Lou Hooks, Cynthia Elaine Davis and Darlene Murray; aunt, JoAnn Key; uncle, Russel Lee Hunter; brother-in-laws, Willie Freeman and Harold Davis; several other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including devoted friends, Shante Hunter and Anthony Johnson.
Wheeler's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
