Mrs. Lajuana (Lunford) Carlyle, Sandersville, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 @ 11 a.m. at New Pine Hill Community Church , Davisboro, GA. Rev. Johnny Ray Sampson officiated . Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Lajuana Lunford Carlyle was born in Jacksonville, FL August 4, 1975, to the late Mrs. Darletha Lunford-Johnson, and the late Mr. Johnny Lee Dixon. Lajuana entered eternal rest on Saturday April 8, 2023.
In 1994 she graduated high school from Paxon Sr High School-Duval County. After high school, her passion, and skills for the art of styling hair led her to cosmetology school. As she continued to evolve in life, she developed a deeper love for the elderly community leading her to further her education and gaining her certification as a CNA and a Medical Assistant.
Mrs. Lajuana leaves to cherish her memories a devoted and loving husband David Anthony Carlyle who she loved very much, Brothers: Mr. Kenny Dixon of Conyers Ga, Mr. Johnny Lunford (Jackie) of FL, Sisters: Ms. Detria Lunford and Ms. Johnisha Dixon of Jax, FL, Aunt: Ms. Addie Dixon of Daytona FL, Uncles: Mr. Dan Dixon (Shirley), of Sandersville, GA, Mr. Ronnie Lunford (Catherine “Tina”) and Mr. Donethia Lunford Sr. (Chantell) both of Jax, Fl,Great Uncle: Henry Mann (Marliyn) of Jax, FL ,Nieces: TashianaNelson Jax, FL, Kwa’Terriyah Johnson, Keambre Lunford and Indigo Davis Nephews: De’Tavion May, Keon May, Bryan Taylor and Jordyn Taylor Great niece: Reagan Nixon God-sisters: Ms. Carolina Taylor, Ms. Shamiyah Taylor and JurniAtkins. God-Children Kayla Taylor and Jamal Fiffer (scooter) FL, Mother-in-law Daisy Kitchens, Sister-in-law Theresa Kitchens, a devoted cousin, and cousin-in-law: Lishonda Dixon, Sheena Dixon and SaMekia Carlyle along with a host of other cousins, loving family, and friends.
She is preceded in death by both maternal (Louise Mann-Brimmer (Johnny) and paternal (Lizzie Mae Dixon) grandmothers, Aunts: Ms. Louise White, Ms. Sandra Lunford Carter, Ms. Beverly Lunford- Mcfadden, Ms. Carrie M. Dixon, Ms. Eula Dixon. Uncles: Clyde B Lunford Father-in-law: Julius Tarver Sister-in-law: Gloria Dixon.
