Mrs. Katie Mae Peacock, Sandersville, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.Graveside services were held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery, Sandersville, GA @ 3 p.m. with Prophetesses Michelle Webb, officiating.
Mrs. Katie Mae Peacock departed this life on September 2, 2020. She was born to the parentage of the late William Webb and Julia Cummings Webb on March 25, 1943.
She attended the public schools of Washington County, Georgia. Mrs. Katie was united in holy matrimony to the late Bennie Lee Peacock on May 6, 1969.
Mrs. Katie leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Wanda Jean Peacock of Sandersville, GA, Jackie (John) Ingram of Tennille, GA, and Helen Louise Washington of Sandersville, GA; one son, Stacy (Shawn) Peacock of Tennille, GA; five grandchildren, Juatraveious Peacock of Sandersville, GA, Jazzmeen Davis of Sandersville, GA, Shannon Davis of Sandersville, GA, Ronia Pearson of Evans, GA, and Gabrielle Peacock of Tennille, GA; two great-grandsons, Jamauri Ingram and Ja’Kai Dawson, both of Sandersville, GA; one great-granddaughter, Baby Andrews, who is on the way; two sister-in-laws, Irene Peacock and Annie Minor; devoted friends, MinnieMountain of Sandersville, GA and Juanita Taylor of Tennille, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
