Jonathan “SurMan” Burden

It’s hard to understand why people are taken from us so young, but today, as a family, we find comfort in knowing that Jonathan was a special part of a well-lived life. When God calls our loved ones home, He leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Jonathan time with us was very brief, but it was filled with love, joy, and boundless energy. Jonathan spirit will continue to live through those loved ones he leaves behind. 

Jonathan Burden of Sandersville, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025. 

Public viewing will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 1:00 PM at St. James Christian Fellowship, Tennille. Interment will follow in the Brownwood Cemetery, Sandersville.

Wheeler’s Funeral Home has been entrusted with final arrangements.
