John Willie (J Bird) Brown

My earthly journey has come to an end after seventy - seven years of many trials and tribulations. God promised all mankind three scores and ten and if by reason of strength, there might be more. He gave me the strength to live seven additional years. Please find comfort in knowing that I have no regrets whatsoever, but I was ready to make my heavenly journey. As a family, you must accept God’s will and abide by his holy words.

John Willie Brown, known as “J-Bird ” entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at his residence. 

Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Sandersville, GA. Rev. Cecil Moore officiated. Burial  followed in the church cemetery. 

Wheeler’s  Funeral Home has been entrusted with final arrangements.
