Joel Cumming Obituary

Master Joel Cumming quietly transitioned into the arms of his creator on Wednesday, April 21,2021 at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Manhattan, NY after an extended illness.

Celebration of Life services were held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 @ 3 p.m. at St. James Christian Fellowship Church, Tennille, GA . Elder Mack Jackson officiated.

Joel Cumming, beloved son of Johnny and Frances Cumming and loving brother of Mireya Shy and Crisshard Thurmond.

Along with his parents and siblings, Joel is survived by ; his grandparents, Willie (Annie ) DeBerry, Stanley (Martha) Thurmond, Bessie Cumming and Mary Kelley as well as his many aunts, uncles, cousins , other relatives and friends.

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
