Joe B. Hill, Tennille, transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Washington County Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the Union Hill Baptist Church. 
 

Joe B, was born in Tennille, GA of February 2, 1953 to the parentage of the late Charlie Clifford Hill and Annie Rose SwintHill Whipple. 

He attended the Washington County Schools and after that he would later join the U.S. Army and get a chance to travel the world.  Joe B. returned from the Army and would spend most of life in Atlanta, GA.  He worked several jobs over his lifetime including the Frito Lay Company and Lawn Care with his friend Mr. Willie Rachels.

He loved to garden, fish, cook his dinner, visit his relatives, and walk the neighborhood. When he was able to, he loved talking. He also loved going to church when he was able attending SwintSpring and Dixon Grove COGIC.

Joe B will be remembered by his children, Stanley Hill, Yolanda Harris, Roderick (Tasha) Asberry of Tennille, GA, and Deverick Moye of Hepzibah, GA; brothers, Billy Hill, Charlie(Bernestine) Hill, both of Tennille, GA and Jimmy Hill of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Rosetta (Mike) Dawson, Louvenia Hill, Annette (Tommy) Cummings, Betty Hill both of Tennille, GA; aunts, Marie Burden and Lula Mae Swint, both of Tennille, GA, Margaret (Morris) May of Milledgeville, GA, and Velma Hill of Toomsboro, GA; uncles, Larry (Shirley) Hill, James (Stella) Hill, Fred (Annie) Hill, John Hill, Otis (Vickie) Hill, Lonnie (Margaret) Hill, all of Milledgeville, GA; grandchildren, Stanley Hill, Jr., Raven Hill, Melvin Hill,Layric  Harris and Gregrico Darrisaw; cherished great-grandchildren, Erin Williams, Avery Williams, and Kinslee Darrisaw; and many devoted friends and neighbors. 

 Wheeler's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
