Mr. James Wilcher , Wrens , entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the University Hospital, Augusta,GA. 
 

Graveside services were held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11 A.M.  at Holly Springs Baptist Church, Warthen, GA. Rev. M. Hannah officiated. 

James L. Wilcher, was born on August 26, 1957, in Glasscock County to the late R.M. Wilcher and Eva Mae Smith. He attended Jefferson County High School.

James leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Eva A. Smith of Warthen, GA; bonus dad, Florence Davis of Louisville, GA; sisters, Mae Allen Tucker of Wrens, GA, Earline W. Braddy of Warthen, GA, Josephine Horton of Wrens, GA, Rose Lee Wilcher of Wrens, GA, and Rosetta Smith of Hephzibah, GA; brother, R.M. Wilcher of Wrens, GA; bonus sister, Francine Davis of Atlanta, GA; bonus brother, Daniel Davis of Louisiana; bonus aunts, Georgia Bell (Freeman) Jenkins of Louisville, GA and Patricia Davis of Louisville, GA; bonus uncles, Foster Davis of Louisville, GA and Charles Davis of Louisville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins , other relatives and friends.
