When God calls our loved ones home, He leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Henry’s time with us was filled with love, joy, and boundless energy. Henry’s spirit will continue to live through those loved ones he leaves behind to carry on his legacy.
Henry L. Wilson entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 14, 2025 at his residence.
Public viewing were held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 12:00 - 6:00 PM.
Graveside services were held on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Rest Haven Memorial Garden, Sandersville.Rev. Tracy B. Wheeler Sr. officiated.
Mr. Henry L. Wilson was born on April 27, 1952, in Washington County, Georgia, to the late Charlie M. Warthen and was the only child of the late Doris Wilson Mathis.
Mr. Wilson dedicated many years of service to Dorman Dodge where he pursued his passion for automobiles both through his work and as a car racing enthusiast. He later continued his career at Twin City Auto Parts where he remained employed until his health began to decline.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Tony Johnson and Charlie Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted daughter, Natasha Annette (Gregory) Brown of Sandersville, GA; son, Stanton Taylor of Allentown, PA; sister, Christine Johnson of Sandersville, GA; brother, Michael Johnson of Sandersville, GA; devoted cousin, Jan Ray of Sandersville, GA; special bonus nephew, Jermel Miller; bonus grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Wheeler’s Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements.
