Hattie P. Johnson

I know that my departure has left a void in your lives, but I knew that my time was coming to an end. When God heard my secret cry, His death angels came to take me to a better place. I don’t have to worry about sickness and pain anymore. I welcomed my departure from this land because this world was never meant to be my permanent home. Please don’t cry for me because there was so much peace and serenity on this journey. At the end of my journey, my master was there to welcome me home. My journey through this life is over, but my true life has just begun!

Mrs. Hattie P. Johnson departed this life on Jan. 1, 2026 at her residence surrounded by the warmth and love of her  family. 

Funeral services were held  on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Camp Spring Baptist Church. Burial  followed  in the church cemetery. 

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements.
