Gussie Mae White

After ninety-five beautiful years of life, Ms. Gussie Mae White was called to eternal rest on Friday, November 23, 2018. Ms. Gussie was born in Warthen, GA on December 27, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Dave and Rosena White.

She was a long time member of Mt. Olive  Baptist Church of Warthen, GA. Ms. Gussie was a great cook; everyone especially loved her homemade biscuits and fried chicken. She truly had a unique way of sharing her wisdom of which you couldn't help but to love.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons; Sgt. Sylvester White and Jimmy White of Sandersville, GA, five daughters; Val (Larry) Michael of Greensboro, NC, Reba Jones of Wrens, GA and Mary White, Willie Mae White and Ella (Charles) Hines, all of Sandersville, GA. Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, twenty-four great-great grandchildren, including two devoted granddaughters; Virginia White and Lillie Pearl Little; one sister-in-law; Martha White of Macon, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
