Grady Smith

If Death should beckon me with outstretched hand and whisper softly of "An Unknown Land"; I shall not be afraid to go. For though the path I do not know, I take Death's Hand without a fear, for He who safely brought me here will also take me safely back. And though in many things I lack, He will not let me go alone into the "Valley That's Unknown".  So, I reach out and take Death's Hand and journey to the "Promise Land".

Mr. Grady Smith  of Sandersville,  GA,.entered into eternal rest on Monday , January 27, 2025  in Sandersville, GA. 

Celebration of Life services were  held on Friday February 7,2025 at 2 p.m.  @ Wheeler’s  Event Center, Sandersville, GA. Pastor Tracy B. Wheeler Sr. officiated. 
 

Grady Smith was born on March 7, 1960, in Washington County to his loving parents, the late Steve Smith., and the late Mary Hammitt.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his brother, Melvin Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, including a devoted cousin , Roy  Hammitt,  other relatives and friends. 

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements.
