Anyone who knew Gracie was touched by her kindness, humor, and mild temperament. She was known for her friendliness and never hesitated to let people know that she loved them. She was truly a peacemaker and always a source of positivity. To know Gracie is to have laughed with or to have shared a kind word, whether a close friend or a stranger. She was always a person who showed love and made others feel special, especially on their birthdays.
Gracie’s final journey in life was when she moved back to Georgia with her family.
Her life and legacy will forever be cherished by her daughter, Laureen Haynes; son-in-law, John Haynes, Sr.; three grandchildren, John Haynes, Jr., Alfredo Haynes, and Cassandra Haynes; great-granddaughter, Madison Haynes; sister, Mozella Gibbons; brother, Albert Taylor; four sisters-in-law, Emma Hall, Pauline Taylor, Thelma Taylor, and Willie Maude Taylor; and a host of other relatives and friends.
