Gladys Mountain

“I heard the voice of Jesus say come on to me and rest. Lay down thou weary one ,lay down thy head upon my breast. 
 

Upon hearing this, Ms. Gladys Mountain, Sandersville, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday morning at her residence. 

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 24,2022 @ 1 p.m.  at Faith Apostolic Church, Tennille, GA .Elder Jessie Mountain officiated .Burial followed in the Brownwood Cemetery, Sandersville, GA. 
 

Ms. Gladys Mountain was born on August 16, 1948, in Washington County, Georgia, to the parentage of the late Mr. Franklin Mountain, Sr. and the late Mrs. Anges Dudley Mountain.

She is survived by her loving sons, Mr. Sylvester (Rinda) Mountain, Mr. Larry Alan (Meleta) Mountain, Mr. Bernard Kinsey, Jr. and Mr. Ricky (LaToya) Harper; siblings, Ms. Eloise Harper, Ms. Jurry Brown, Ms. Pearline Hawkins, Mrs. Katherleen (Sanford) Braddy, Mrs. Earnstine (Pastor Joseph) Mungin, Mr. Joseph (Dr. Brenda) Mountain, and Elder Jessie (Linda) Mountain; grandchildren, Darius Lawrence, Demetria Lawrence, Tan Lawrence, Destiny Mountain, AhLuana Mountain, Jaylen Smith, Autumn Maze, Summer Maze, Kierra Collins, and Jazmyne Collins; great-grandchildren, Ja’Kaden Mountain, Harmoni Mountain, Azyian  Mountain, Kaitlyn Bryant, and Haven Lawrence; loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; special caregivers Faye Hood, LeJuanaMaze and Emma Johnson; and special friend, Sherry Boatwright.

Family will be receiving friends at 817  S. Pecan St., Sandersville, GA. 
 

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
