Gene Robinson

To all my loved ones that I am leaving behind, don’t worry about me, because my heavenly Father sent His angels to reclaim his gift to this world. Please be forever grateful and thankful for the happiness we’ve shared. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joys. As you celebrate the end of my life’s journey, I pray that each of you will find comfort in knowing that a loving and compassionate

God knows what’s best for each of us. I’m free so praise the Lord that I’m free. I am no longer bound by the troubles of this world.

Mr. Gene Robinson, entered into eternal rest on Friday , December 6, 2024 at Jefferson Hospital, Louisville, GA. 

Funeral services were held on Saturday December 14, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Harrison Spring Baptist Church, Harrison, GA. Rev. Levi White Jr. officiated. Burial followed in the Harrison Cemetery. 
 

Gene leaves behind to cherish his memories, wife, Bernita Dixon Robinson; children, Gene Lemarkis Robinson, Roderick (Courtney) Robinson, Marquita Robnson, all of Wrightsville, GA, Alexcia Anderson of Jacksonville, FL, and Serai Mearidy of Harrison, GA; bonus children, Derrick Davis of Indianapolis, IN and Kenmantel (Erica) Davis of Crystal Springs, MS; grandchildren, Shaniah Abrams, TanishJae Robinson, Kamaurya Smith, Ri'Yonna Robinson, Myron Wilson, and Myra Wilson; brothers, James Robinson Sr. of Jonesboro, GA and Frank (Edith) Robinson of Jacksonville, FL; bonus grandchildren, Jada Davis, Jamario Benson, Diyasha Davis, Kentario Davis, Kenzavion Davis, Quavorius Davis, Tikia Davis, and Shatavia Presley; great-grandchild, Jadyn Hudson; brother-in-laws, Earl (Billie) Dixon and Rev. Dr. Victor (Lavoise) Dixon, both of Hazlehurst, MS, Joe Dixon and David (Mary) Dixon, both of Georgetown, MS; sister-in-laws, Dorthy Dixon of Madison, MS and Brenda Dixon (Scottie) Yancey of Las Vegas, NV; devoted nephew, Stephen Dixon of Byram, MS; a host of of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements.
