Although, death came at me like a quiet storm; I fought so hard to stay, because I never wanted to leave any of you in such a sudden way. Please understand that God only lends the world His children for a little while. When God sends His Angels to bring His children home; much sooner than planned, you must brave the grief that comes and try to understand.
Mr. Gary Tucker entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 12, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 3 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church.Rev. Cecil Moore officiated.
Gary leaves to cherish his memories: seven children, Marcus Cato, Rex, GA, Shireth Poole, Macon, GA, Allen Mack, Seattle, Washington, Lakeisha Bridges, Covington, GA, Chaka McGruder, Macon, GA, Gary Tucker Jr., Jay’veion Tucker, both of Tennille, GA; four sisters, Sophia (Charlie) Lundy, Warthen, GA, Norma (Donald) Wiley, Davisboro, GA, Naomi (Daron) French, Macon, GA, Jacquelin Tucker, Davisboro, GA; one brother, Henry Lee Tucker, Sandersville, GA; two aunts, Mary Nell Jones, Augusta, GA; Cynthia Erwin, Chattanooga, Tennessee; one uncle, Tommie Tucker, Hephzibah, GA; seventeen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Wheeler’s Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements.
