Florence (Wheeler) Moore

Mrs. Florence Moore , returned to the open arms of her creator on Monday, September 14, 2020 at the Gwinnett Medical Center, Gwinnett County, GA. 

Graveside services were held on Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Sandersville City Cemetery, Hall St. , Sandersville, GA @ 1 p.m. with Rev. Tracy Wheeler Sr. officiating.

Florence was born June 13, 1939 to the parentage of the late Mrs. Julie Wheeler and Mr. Tobe Wheeler of Sandersville (Washington County), Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her two children, Rose Regina Moore and Melvin A. Moore, four brothers, Marshall Wheeler, George Wheeler, “Pig” Wheeler and James Wheeler, and her sister, Mattie Mae Hall.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her son, Willie Vonzell Armstrong of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Shenia Moore of Stone Mountain; sister, Ruby Wheeler; ten grandchildren, Ayjanah Moore of Atlanta, GA, Dejuan Wilkerson of Philadelphia, PA, Eric Roberts of Trenton, NJ, Trilena Walker of Tampa, FL, Kareema Ivery of Fayetteville, NC, Aneesah Smarts of Bensalem, PA, Khalil Halle of Pottstown, PA, Netobia Tucker of Milledgeville, GA, Khalfini Richardson of Trenton, NJ and Malik Moore of Stone Mountain, GA; eleven great-grandchildren, Khloe Richardson, Khalfini Smith, Khamir Smith, Amir Phillips, Dhakwan Wilkerson, DeJzane Wilerson, Latrice Roberts, Curtis Murry, Caiden Jones, Madeline Ivey, Julian Walker, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
