Eugene Durden

Mr. Eugene Durden , Warthen , entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at his residence. 
 

Graveside services were held on Tuesday , February 22,2022 @ 2 p.m. @  Sandersville City Cemetery , Sandersville,GA.Pastor Tommy Barnes officiated.

Wheeler’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Eugene Durden was born on January 19, 1953, in  Hancock County , Ms. Rosie Mae Barnes and the late Mr. Charlie Durden.

Eugene attended the public schools of Washington County and later went to Job Corps in Kentucky for 2 years.

He loved his family and friends, loved to socialize and always had a good time. 

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his wife , Mary Ella (Maze) Durden.

Eugene leaves to cherish his memories, two children, Tyrone Maze and Nicole West; mother, Rosie Mae Barnes;dedicated sisters, Renee Jackson and Lizzie M. Durden ; devoted brothers, Charlie (Annie Ruth) Barnes, Clifford (Virginia) Durden, Tommy (Patricia) Barnes, Willie (Sharon) Durden, Oscar Durden, Elton Durden and Jessie Hill; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister in law, Martha Durden; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
