Don’t worry about me because as I started walking through those shadows of death, I couldn’t stop because I could see the shadows of the Lord meeting me to take me to that place where the sun is always shining, where my trials and tribulations are over, and the streets are paved with gold. The Lord was there to comfort me throughout my journey. Sorrow not for me because I am now free from the troubles of the world.

Eric Martin , entered into eternal rest on Friday , April 17 , 2026 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, Atlanta , GA . 

Funeral services were held on Saturday , April 25, 2026 at 12 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, Sandersville, GA . Elder Roy Washington officiated. 

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements.
