Mr. Elijah Johnson, Sandersville, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center, Sandersville, GA.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, August 28,2021 @ 2 p.m. at the Sandersville City Cemetery. Hall St. , Sandersville, GA.
Elijah was born October 3, 1944, to the parentage of the late Mr. Bobby Brown and the late Mrs. Rutha Mae Wheeler Johnson.
Elijah leaves to cherish his memories; four sons Elijah Johnson Jr. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Eric Johnson, Boardman, Ohio; Travis Johnson, Macon, Georgia; Sherrod Johnson, Sandersville, Georgia. Seventeen grandchildren; Sheba(Keith) Reaves, Tamika (Don) Davis, Mike Hatcher, Tiona (Sherone) Robinson, Elijah Johnson III, Vanessa Johnson, Hezekiah Johnson,Tremaine Johnson, Airel Johnson, Travis Johnso Jr., Khalid Johnson, Quenterrious Wright, Kadin Mcgruder, Alakah Johnson. Fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grand: Four sisters; Mrs. Kaite Taylor, Sandersville, Georgia; Mrs. Annie Gilbert, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Ms. Gloria Robinson and Ms. Dorothy Brown, Sandersville, Georgia. Two brothers; Billy Brown, Sandersville, Georgia, and Gerald Brookins, Albany, Georgia. Two stepsons; Sharron Lovett, Kevin Lovett, Macon, Georgia, and daughter, Mrs. Deborah (Keith) Phillips, Atlanta, Georgia. One aunt, Mrs. Ernestine Johnson, Sandersville, Georgia. A devoted and caring niece, Mrs. Shirley Johnson Fields, Sandersville, Georgia. Several other loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
