Edith Holmes

A page has been turned, the chapter of my life is now completed, remember the battle I fought to remain on earth with each of you.  A victory has been won, a life’s book closed, and it was all part of God plans for me.  Family and friends, please accept the will of God, because a loving and awesome God knows what best for each of us.  I want each of my family members and friends to begin your journey of healing by remembering the joy that we shared through pictures, mementos, and favorite stories both funny and sad.  Let your minds wonder the path of remembrance, reliving the joy and good times we have had.

Mrs. Edith P. Holmes, Augusta, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at  PruittHealth-North Augusta. 

Funeral services were held on Monday , July 15,2024 @ 2 p.m. at Green Grove Baptist  Church , Sandersville, GA. Rev. Tracy Wheeler Sr. officiated. . Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was  been entrusted with final arrangements.
