Eddie Lee Jiles

Mr. Eddie L. Jiles , Sandersville, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 17,2022 at his residence. 

Funeral services were held on Sunday, January 23,2022 at 2 p.m. @ Middle Hill Baptist Church , Warthen , GA  with Rev. Tracy Wheeler officiating . Burial  followed in the church  cemetery.

On August 6, 1945, he was born to the late Mr. Joe B. Jiles, Sr., and Mrs. Wallene Gilbert Jiles.

Eddie attended the public schools of Washington County and joined the United States Army at an early age. He joined Middle Hill Baptist Church and worked numerous jobs throughout his lifetime and was a master auto mechanic.

Along with his parents, “Bossie” as he was affectionately known, is preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Thelma Jackson Jiles, sisters ,Eva Mae Daniel, Dora Glover, and Minnie L. Jiles; brother , Joe B. Jiles Jr. and grandson, Chad Morris.

Eddie leaves to cherish his memories, his son Victor James (Mary) of Sandersville, Georgia, five bonus children; Ruby Cooper, Macon, Georgia, Mrs. Sarah Bridges-Rogers, Tennille, Georgia, Ms. Teresa Jackson, Sandersville, Georgia. Mr. Donald (Dorothy) Jackson, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Calvin (Peggy) Jackson, Macon, Georgia, Sisters; Evalene Jiles, Hattie Mae Wheeler and Mozell (Freddie ) Cannida, one sister-in-law Mrs. Ruby Fanney, Macon, Georgia, and one brother-in-law, Mr. Frank Jackson, Cleveland, Ohio. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
