Doris (Gundy) Poole

The earthly season of my life is over, so I have gone to a place where all mankind must go. It is a place beyond the open gates. All have been invited, but only a few will be chosen to remain forever. This place holds all eternal promises. I have gone to a place of everlasting peace and no more worries or sickness. This is a place where there is no pain or sorrow, and teardrops have ceased. I don’t want my exit from this life to be painful for any of my family and friends because I love each of you.

On September 29, 2025, Mrs. Doris Poole season of life ended when God sent His angels to return the gift He lent to the Poole family. 

Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Camp Spring Baptist Church. Pastor Lonnie Kelley officiated. . Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Wheeler's Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements.
