Heavenly Father, we understand that your will must be done. We refuse to be ungrateful and selfish for all the joy that our bundle of joy brought. During his brief time on earth, we sheltered him with tenderness and loved him while we may. As a family, we are thankful for the happiness we've known and forever grateful for Derrick’s stay. When your angels came for him much sooner than we planned, we'll brave the grief that comes and try to understand. God gave Derrick De’Quan Taylor to Crystal Nicole Taylor and Herbert Louis Taylor, Jr. on June 10, 2020 and it was God’s decision to take this lent child back with him on September 27, 2024.
