Life has many struggles, but if you put your trust in God, he will see you through. This is what I taught each of you throughout your lives. I know my departure has caused each of you so much grief, but trust in the Lord to see you through. Lean not on your own understanding, and He will direct your path. I was sent by God for a purpose, and now that I have achieved that purpose, my life has come to an end. With God’s help, I have overcome many storms of life, and you can too. My death isn’t a storm; it is just another challenge in your life.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 1 p.m. at St. Galilee Baptist church, Sandersville, GA. 

Wheeler's Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements.
