It is with deepest sympathy that the staff and management of Wheeler’s Funeral Home announces the passing of Mr. Dan May, formerly of Tennille, GA. 

Mr. May entered into eternal rest on Sunday,  April 19, 2026 in Ohio. 

Funeral services will be held on April 28, 2026 at 7:00 PM at United Vision Baptist Church, Toledo, OH, with Rev. Perry Harris lll officiating. 
 

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 1:30 PM at Samuel Grove Baptist Church, Tennille, GA, with Rev. Eric Adams, pastor,  serving as eulogist. 

Dan leaves to cherish his loving memories, his son Christopher Dan (Sierra) May ,Tennille, Georgia; daughter Angel Wilson, Atlanta, Georgia; sisters, Deborah Sanders, Sandersville, Georgia, Vivian (Thomas) Wilcher, Sandersville, Georgia and Faye Harper, Toledo, Ohio; brothers , Larry Hurst, Edward Hurst and Eddie Mike  (Dorothy) Wiggins, Tennille, Georgia and Jeffery Harper, Toledo, Ohio.  ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
