Corine (Lil Ma) Gilmore

The Lord has always been my shepherd; so, don’t worry about me. Through my death, He has restored my soul. Although I have walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I feared no evil, because God sent His angels to comfort me. In my heart, you’ll always be a part of me. Rejoice because I have reached that place of peace, where there is no fear.

Corine Gilmore , known to many as “Lil Ma”, departed this life on Saturday , December 13, 2025 at Smith Medical Center, Sandersville, GA. 

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, Sandersville, GA with Pastor Harold Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownwood Cemetery. 

Wheeler’s Funeral Home has been entrusted with final arrangements.
