Mr. Clifton Jerome Brown returned back to the open arms of his creator on Saturday, October 10,2020 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin , GA.
Graveside services were held on Saturday , October 17, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery , Hwy 24, Sandersville, GA with Rev. Frank Smith, officiating.
Clifton Jerome Brown, Sr. was born on September 13, 1976 to Charley Rene Brown and Larry C. Jiles. He was a graduate of the Class of 1996. Clifton loved sports and it is no secret that he was a fan for life to his favorite NFL team, the San Francisco 49ers. He also loved people and never met a stranger. Clifton was baptized at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Josephine Smith, John Thomas, and Minnie Jiles, two uncles, Henry Smith and Will Smith, aunt, Linda (Willie) Smith, father-in-law, Clarence Williams.
Clifton leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mardith Brown; children, Deamber Bolston, Jacksonville, FL, Shambriel Spikes, Malaysia Williams, Traliyah Washington, and Clifton Brown, Jr.; his mother, Charley Rene Brown; his father, Larry C. Jiles; siblings, Greg Minor of Burbank, California, Fonda (Keith) Foster, Sr. of Sandersville, GA, Dedrick (Cyndrika) Brown, Sr. of Sandersville, GA, Larry Jiles of Wrightsville, GA, Inez (Omar) El-Amin of Atlanta, GA, and Zalieka Jiles of Wrightsville, GA; one grandchild, Chance (Cleebo) Washington; aunts, Florrie Smith of Tennille, GA, Mattie (Curtis) Dixon of Wrightsville, GA, and Henrietta Jiles of Chicago, IL; uncles, Charlie Brown of Tennille, GA, Frank (Delia) Smith of Sandersville, GA, Lemont (Marilyn) Talington of Sandersville, GA, John Willie (Carolyn) Talington of Sandersville, GA, Gary Thomas, and Sammie (Mary) Thomas; devoted niece, Felicity Shambreka Wilcher (Jamarion Scott); and mother-in-law, Elnora Williams, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews and friends , including devoted friends, Terry Foster, Tyler Walden, Rico Haynes, and Shun Mitchell.
