Mr. Clarence Jordan , Stapleton, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Augusta University Medical Center, Augusta, GA.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Pine Hill Baptist Church , Davisboro , GA.
Born on March 10, 1954, he was the son of the late William Jordan and the late Rosa Queen Jordan.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by sisters, Mattie Jordan, Margret Harris, Ethel Jordan and Lois Jordan and a niece ,Daphney Carswell.
He was a 1971 graduate of T.J. Elder High School, Sandersville, GA.
Clarence worked several jobs before landing a job with Lamb Bros. Wrens, GA.He later obtained his Cdl’s and made a career of truck driving and after driving for 34 years , he retired at the age of 62 , due to health reasons.
He was a amazing father, grandfather , brother, uncle and friend who loved spending time with his family.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Clarence Jordan Jr., (Tiesha) , Rodney Carswell (Raina), Lakendra Jordan, Rico Jordan (Natalie), Tiffany Jordan, Tyronica Jordan,Andrea Jordan, William Jordan, Toni Thomas, Nia Johnson, Nijeria Jordan and a bonus daughter, Kanieka Patterson; 35 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, William Jordan and Clinton Jordan; sisters, Juanita Taylor, Ella Jordan, Francis Jordan, Gloria Wicker, Affie Duggan, and Faye Jordan; a devoted friend, Gracie Beasley and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
