Cheryl Lynn Ross

Ms. Cheryl Lynn Ross, Tennille, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 2, 2022 in the comfort of her home , surrounded by her loving family. 
 

Celebration of life services were held on Saturday, July , 9,2022 at 11 a.m.  @ Wheeler’s Event Center , 335 E. McCarty St. , Sandersville,  GA.

She was born on September 6, 1955 to the parentage of Ms. Amilene Ross-Davis and the late Charleston and Willie Mae Ellison. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Ross.

She attended Washington County High School, class of 1973. Also, she was a member of the Tennille Bomberettes Softball Team. She was a dedicated employee at Corbett Plywood of Tennille, GA, for many years. After, the closure of Corbett Plywood, she moved to Douglasville, Ga, where she worked at Ridgeview Behavior Institute for seven years and later retired. She then moved back home where she joined Faith Apostolic in Tennille, Ga. She enjoyed family gatherings, traveling to the mountains, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Cheryl leaves her memories to be cherished by, her mother: Amilene Ross-Davis, Tennille, Georgia; two sisters: Cynthia (Greg) Cooper, Karen Davis, Tennille, Georgia; Three brothers: David (Willette) Davenport, Sandersville, Georgia; Charles (Barbara) Davenport, Davisboro, Georgia; Eric (Kathy) Davis, Lithia Springs, Georgia; sister in law: Ruth Ross,Tennille, Georgia, Two Aunts: Wilhelmenia (Huren) Gindraw Sandersville, Georgia; Mamie-Kate Ross; Two Uncles: Charles (Ella) Ellison, David (Marie) Ellison Tennille, Georgia, devoted friends Louise Washington , Sammie and Virginia Knight, Pamela Jones and Paula Hagans and host of other relatives and friends.

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
