Carroll (Shank) Hall

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we  announce the transitioning of Mr. Carroll “Shank” Hall, South Carolina , to the open arms of his creator on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, Columbia, SC.

Funeral  services were held on Friday, April 21,2023 at 10 a.m. @ Green Grove Baptist Church , 5030 GA Hwy 242, Sandersville, GA. Interment followed in the Veterans Cemetery, Milledgeville, GA. 
 

Carrol Harrison Hall, affectionately known as “Shank,” was born to the late Mr. Thomas Adam “T.A.” Hall and Mrs. Lula Bell Jordan Hall on May 14, 1956, in Sandersville, Georgia.  He made his transition to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 9, 2023, surrounded by his devoted family.  Shank served 21 years in the United States ARMY. After retiring from the ARMY, he joined the Cayce West Columbia branch of the United States Postal Service until retiring on December 31, 2021. 

He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his wife, Joyce Thomas Hall of Columbia, SC,  three daughters: Shantavius Hall of Charlotte, NC; Tanasia Hall of Columbia, SC; Christel Barlow of Columbia, SC.  one granddaughter: Indya Barlow of Columbia, SC. Mother-in-Law: Millerene Thomas of Sandersville, GA. Six sisters: Brenda (Lenward) Jackson of Sandersville, GA;  Diane (Curtiss) Cordy of Sandersville, GA; Charlene Brown of Sandersville, GA; Gail Hall of Sandersville, GA; Troise Hall of Sandersville, GA and Glenda Freeman of Sandersville , GA,  one brother: Hardwick Hall of Birmingham, AL. one aunt: Bernice Jordan of Cleveland, OH, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other  relatives, and friends.

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
