Obituary

Mrs. Carrie Bell Dixon entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 28, 2022  at Mercy Hospital, Rockville Centre, New York. 

Celebration of life services were held on Saturday, November 12,2022 at 12 p.m. at the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tracy Wheeler Sr., officiated.
Repast followed at Wheeler’s Event Center , 335 E. McCarty Street, Sandersville, GA. 

Carrie Bell Cuyler-Dixon entered into eternal rest at Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre, New York, on Friday, October 28, 2022. 

  Carrie was born in Washington County , on November 23, 1940, daughter of the late Luke and Julia  (Biggins ) Cuyler .

She was married to the late Mr. William Dixon. 

Along with her parents and husband , she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Cuyler, Charlie Cuyler and Julius Cuyler and a sister , Annie Lee Cuyler.

She leaves her precious memories to be cherished  by her devoted daughter, Annette Dixon (David )Crews, Freeport , NY; two dedicated grandchildren, Duvall Crews and Kelsey Crews, both of Freeport , NY; sister, Amanda Palmer, Tampa, FL; sisters-in-law, Lissie Dixon-Hodges, Tennille, GA and Shirley Dixon (Ronald) Coursey, Ellicott City, MD, devoted cousins, Ray(Beverly) Biggins of Sandersville, GA, ,and the Biggins and Adams families , along with a host of other cousins , relatives and friends .

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
