Bobby Roberts

Mr. Bobby Roberts, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Washington Co. Regional Medical Center, Sandersville, GA. 
 

Graveside services were held on Thursday February  10, 2022 at 1 p.m. @ Pine Hill Baptist Church, Davisboro, GA . Rev. Tracy Wheeler Sr., officiated. 

 

Bobby Lee Roberts was born on November 23, 1950 to the late Mr. Twillie (Johnny) and the late Mrs. Viola Hall Roberts in Riddleville, GA. Bobby was the fifth child of sixteen and the second oldest son. Bobby received his formal education in the Washington County School System. After high school, he moved to Atlanta, GA and lived there for several years. Bobby worked at the neighborhood supermarket, Beulah’s Supermarket and Gold Kist, while living in Atlanta.  Later on in his life, he moved backed to Riddleville, GA. 

In Bobby’s leisure time, he enjoyed going fishing, watching sports, and westerns on TV. He was an avid daily newspaper reader, and sitting on the outside. 

Bobby departed this life on February 1, 2022, at the Washington County Regional Medical Center in Sandersville, GA. 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, I.L. Roberts and Leo Roberts, his sister Lois Roberts and his niece, Tashayla Pitts.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memories, six sisters, Willie Maude Taylor, Carolyn Roberts, Jenette  Roberts, all of Griffin, GA, Mary Lou Roberts, Arlene Roberts, both of Riddleville, GA and Gladine Willis of College Park, GA; six brothers, Ernest Roberts of Riverdale, GA, Henton Roberts, Ray Roberts, both of College Park, GA, Amos Roberts, John Roberts, and Kenneth Roberts, all of Riddleville, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will also recall the memories of Bobby in diverse ways.

Wheeler’s  Funeral  Home was in charge of arrangements.
