Bennie Brown Jr.

Mr. Bennie Brown Jr., Church St., Tennille, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta GA.
Funeral services for Mr. Brown will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 1 p.m. from Camp Spring Baptist Church, 9919 Old Savannah Road, Sandersville with Bishop Jessie Mountain officiating. Burial will follow on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the GA War Veterans Cemetery, Milledgeville, GA.
Public viewing will be on Friday, Jan. 24th from 10 a.m. to 7p.m at Wheeler’s Funeral Home. 

Born and raised in Washington County, Bennie was the son of Bennie and Susie (Roberts) Brown, Sr., both whom preceded him in death.  He attended the public schools of Washington County and afterwards joined the army and spent his later years between Atlanta and Washington County.  

Bennie leaves to cherish his memories: his sister Naomi Brown of Wrightsville, GA; brothers, Eddie Lee (Patricia) Brown, Tommie Lee (Charlene) and Allen Brown; several nieces and nephews including Mickey Brown and Karen Scott and a host of other relatives and friends including a devoted caretaker, Ms. Ruby Williams.

Family will be receiving friends at 485 Glover Rd., Harrison, GA. 
Wheeler’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
