Ave Alex Hood, affectionately known as “Al”, age 59, of Independence, MO passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024, at the St. Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza.

Funeral  services were held on ,Monday November 25, 2024 in Independence,OH. 

Al was born to the parentage of the late Gloria Hood and the late Glenn Hood . 

Along with his parents , he was preceded in death by his sister, Sonya Hood . 

His memories will be forever cherished by, his children, Tiffany Hood, Quintin (Tori) Hood, Kanishia Hood and Oceana Martin; four granddaughters along with the Taylor, Hall and Jordan families. 

Meyers Funeral Chapel , Blue Springs, OH was in charge of arrangements.
