Petty Officer Second Class April Walden, United States Navy, entered into eternal rest on Thursday , November 16, 2023. 

Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 @ 2 p.m. at New Birth Christian Ministries, Tennille, GA. Pastor Victor Cuyler officiated. Burial followed in the Brownwood Cemetery. 
 

April is survived by ; her children, Ori Walden and Oriah Walden of Sandersville, GA; mother, Rutha M Walden of Sandersville, GA; father, Bobby Jones of Milledgeville, GA; grandmother, Annie Ruth Walden Gregory of Sandersville, GA; sibling, Monickie (Gartrell) Simmons of Sandersville, GA; Thasten Walden of Milledgeville, GA; Eric Walden of Sandersville, GA; step-father, Willie Parham of Milledgeville, GA; devoted/best friend, Whitney (Jeremy) Story of Evans, GA, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Wheeler’s Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements.
