A page has been turned, the chapter of my life is now completed, remember the battle I fought to remain on earth with each of you. A victory has been won, a life’s book closed, and it was all part of God plans for me.
Mr. Anthony Griner , age 63, Sandersville, entered into eternal rest on Saturday , August 17, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 @ 1 p.m. at St. Galilee Baptist Church , Sandersville, GA . Burial followed in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Griner leaves to cherish his memories: his one son, Anthony Wilder of Atlanta, GA; one grandson, Anthony Wilder II of Atlanta, GA; seven sisters, Belinda (William) Dixon of Harrison, GA, Merolyn Pearson, Rosa Hall, Mary Griner, Annie Pearl Reeves of Sandersville, GA, Janice Tillman, and Catina Hall of Atlanta, GA; six brothers, Willie James Griner of Tennille, GA, Melvin (Patricia) Griner, Steven (Maudell) Griner, Charlie Freeman of Sandersville, GA, Richard Tillman, and Edward Tillman of Atlanta, GA; eight aunts, Iola Latimer, Edna Daniels, Katie Maze, Glenda Smith of Sandersville, GA, Carrie Bell Boss of Tennille, GA, Lucille (Doyle) Walker of Ft. Worth, TX, Bertha James of Miami, FL, and Barbara Jean Smith of Hollywood, FL; two uncles, J. C. (Daisy) Maze of Sandersville, GA, and Robert (Angela) Hall of Swainsboro, GA; devoted friends, Issac (Juanita) Haynes, Molly Scott, Ernest Harper, and Christopher Carr; and a host of very loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
