On the morning of Friday, August 14, 2020, Mrs. Angela Johnson Curtis gained her angelical wings at the University Hospital, Augusta, GA. 

Graveside services were held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 @ 2 p.m. at the Marshall Grove Baptist Church, 3300 GA Highway 68 N, Sandersville, GA. Rev. Tracy Wheeler Sr., officiated.

Born and raised in Washington County, Angela was the daughter of the late Willie James Williams and Bernistine Johnson Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Lawson Curtis Jr., the pride of her life her son, Quintavious Curtis; stepdaughter, Shaundrea Watts; granddaughter, Aubree Wright Curtis; sisters, Rose (Gregory) Mack, Vickie Johnson, Cathy (Tonny) Latimer, Mary (Thomas) Hagans and Shirley Ann Martin; brothers, James A. Johnson and Michael (Felicia) Johnson; aunts, Charlie Mae Henderson, of Sandersville, GA, Cleophus Clark of Stone Mountain, GA, and Dora Williams of Jacksonville, FL; uncle, Bennie Lee Madison of Sandersville, GA; devoted nieces, Lakeisha (Kenneth) Fragher, Valencia (Kwanta) Legette, Nekeria (Roderick) Roberson, Calencia (Glenn) Webb, India Johnson, Maya Johnson, Kanijah Johnson,Nakayla Roberson, Avah Webb, Raniyah Roberson, Ivey Webb, Shaliyah Legette, Za’Mya Legette, and Khaza Smith; devoted nephews, Roderick Latimer of Atlanta, GA, Deonte Latimer, Jafarius Smith, Tyreion Smith, Kenneth K.G. Fragher, Evan Webb, Carson Smith. devoted cousin DarTrell Pierce; devoted godson, Jayden Reese; sister-in-law, June Bell of Atlanta, GA; as well as many cousins, other relatives and friends, including devoted friends, RayShonda Archer, Nikki (John) Pleas, Arlene Cooper, Roxanne Farmer, Nita Moppins, Nikki Jackson, Tom Dixon, and Mrs. Annie Ruth Gregory.
